I've never posted anything here before, and have only seen DTB as part of an amazing Soul Stew Revival show here in San Francisco Fall 08..

But I too am already giving this a top rating, because I just saw that the extraordinary and multi-talented JACKIE GREENE is the 'Special Guest' for this 4/15 San Francisco show (and I think L.A. too?), and I wouldn't miss this for anything! (The fact that it's the day after my birthday, and I'll be playing hookey from law school, just makes it all that more fun...)

If you've never seen Jackie Greene before, you are in for a huge treat.. Just check out his music, background, etc. on www.JackieGreene.com ... imho, a brilliant young (28?) singer-songwriter-multi-instrumental-musician (guitar, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, keyboards/piano/organ...) -- Has also been playing this past year as lead vocals and guitar with Phil Lesh & Friends (which doesn't personally do anything for me, but that's a big deal for lots of other folks, and has vaulted Jackie to even greater prominence nationally... from his regional fame as a local Northern CA boy...)

Thrilled that Derek has brought Jackie on board to join him.. can not wait for this show!
