This is one of Derek's SG's. It was built in 2007 by the Gibson Custom Guitar Shop. It was built with "new" vintage wood and parts. After delivery, Bobby added the optional long tailpiece and several other modifications to make it worthy of Derek's playing. Although none of Derek's guitars use any "modernizing" modifications or changes to vintage parts, the setup, intonation and tuning machines are critical to the performance of the guitar for the way Derek plays it.
