I was excited to see that BBKing was opening for the band. I've been a fan since I saw Susan in Munster, IN. in the late 90's.
Unfortunately, Idisappointed that the music was distorted. Yeah I know, if the music's to loud, you're to old. The performance didn't showcase Susan's voice or her husbands skills. The sound must have been set before the performance, but Red Rocks must have some acoustics that don't absorb the sound as would be predicted. It was just loud, it was distorted and unbalanced. My seats were in the middle of the amphitheater, as I left, and approached the stageit seemed that the sound was better.

I'm sure I was not the only person that felt the sound quality flaws. Many people left after BB KIng, but as the Tedeschi Trucks band performance progressed, people left in droves.

BB Kings performance was great and the sound was superb, except when he started singing before turning towards the mic.
