dTb Update From Roma
07.03.09
We're pleased to bring you the first in a series of dispatches from The Derek Trucks Band's European Tour. Today, dTb drummer Yonrico Scott checked in with an update on the band's first few days in Italy:
"The band landed at the Rome Airport, to get and be ready for what's in our sights, Europe. We all cooled out at the Hotel. Then it was time for adventure in the great city of Roma. We went and saw the Coliseum, and were all very impressed by the Vatican. The detail that went in that building was breath-taking. It also gave you a sense that there are things in this world that much bigger than you and I. That when we think we have the world on our shoulders, things then and now are much, much bigger. We also shared in a great Italian meal (and drink).
Now's time to play spread the Music we love to Play. More to come…
- Yonrico"

Many thanks to Rico for taking the time to share this with us, and stay tuned for more notes and pictures from all over Europe throughout July.
