Scrapomatic Album release
Be sure to get to the Soul Stew shows early this summer, you do not want to miss Mike Mattison and Paul Olsen's Scrapomatic. They will be opening for Soul Stew on the upcoming tour in support of their new album Sidewalk Ceasars due out June 24. Sidewalk Caesars is another powerful release by the dynamic duo, this time supported by a full band including Dave Yoke on guitar, Ted Pecchio on bass and Tyler Greenwell on drums. Derek joined in the fun too, adding guitar to two tracks on the album, as well as a guest performance from DTB Count M Butu on percussion.
Our friends at Hittin the Note are now offering presale copies of Sidewalk Caesars. Everyone who orders during the presale will receive an autographed copy of the CD and be entered to win 2 prizes: 1st prize - free tickets to a Scrapomatic/Soul Stew Revival show of your choice (subject to availability) including a meet and greet with Scrapomatic; 2nd prize- a framed hand written lyric sheet for an original Scrapomatic song. Here is what HTN Allison Hersch had to say about Sidewalk Caesars "On Sidewalk Caesars, Scrapomatic much-anticipated follow-up to 2006 Alligator Love Cry, this talented duo perfects a lean, mean sound born of the blues, nurtured by American roots music and given shape by Mattison soulful growl and Olsen propulsive guitar... Whether their delivery is rough or smooth, Scrapomatic unbridled passion for music is positively contagious and guaranteed to have you tapping your toe and singing along in no time. As Sidewalk Caesars demonstrates clearly, for Scrapomatic, the third time really is the charm"
Go to Hittinthenote.com to order your copy of Scrapomatic's Sidewalk Caesars now!
