That's exactly what happened when i hit "save" this morning after writing a post "anyone notice this?" I know it sounds bizarre, Nathan, but all of a sudden I was transported back to January 13, 2009 and instead of my post, I was staring at Holt's post "anyone notice" and the ensuing thread from nearly a year ago!
(It was great to see Holt's name and familiar avatar again, but my head was spinning!) I never DID find my original post and I ended up rewriting it under the heading "Is this news?" The original could have been launched willynilly into cyberspace or maybe it is securely saved in someone's profile on this site. WEIRD!
Your explanation above for the overall website situation sounds entirely plausible, BB.
not to play with anything on this site as I am afraid that I will end up in a parallel universe....

What's up with the "Anyone Notice" and "Anyone Notice This" posts in the general forum? Anyday, when I click on your "Anyone Notice This" it goes to Holt's original "Anyone Notice" post! Then if I start on the "Is this news?" one, go to the next post, it takes me to Holt's "Anyone notice" and then I get stuck in a loop!
someone was fixing the spam mess. It's kinda obvious to me (like when your own "why I am a fan" and your "lyrics" don't show up)...that when you report a spammer's post as "offensive"...that it blocks another registered user instead! IT ALL MAKES COMPLETE SENSE TO ME NOW!!! (not!)
