The new Derek and Susan DREAM TEAM! finally revealed...
This is a picture that Eric Krasno from Soulive just put up on twitter...

Apparently these guys were all jammin and recording some material this past weekend in Florida, probably Derek and Susan's home studio. I'm so excited! It looks like a pretty stacked crew!

can't wait to watch this on Moogis! yeah!!!!
That Javier Colon is on vocals when/if they play somewhere close by in NC. If not then at least hope they play Atlanta with Javier @ some point(assuming NYE this December if not then maybe an ATL sooner).
Those hitting wanee are lucky to be getting Javier Mike AND Susan.
SWEET!!!
I believe that Oteil and Kofi are a lock...don't know who the drummer(s) will be, or additional vocalists (what I wouldn't give for it to be Mike and Bekka!
)

I see where tix are on sale now for a show that is part of the festival to be held at the JMT. However, if you go to the main site...the show is not listed...and that is where I had been checking after first seeing it posted on the ST site. I'll hopefully catch them in Carolina or Va..and hope that we are notified for early fan sales. Thanks so much! Peace, BB

to me (I'm older
) as there has been no mention of it on the JM Theater site which is what is posted on the ST site for 4/1/10. I would now have to assume that Wanee
is held at the JM Theatre? I'm really no longer interested in the festival settings...but would have gone to a theater in Savannah to hear them...??

Substance over hype
Creativity over personnel
I figured out what the "DREAM TEAM" is (or what is being called that in the Tweet along with the Twic? (tweet pic) by Krasno that started this. The Dream Team is Derek, Susan, Oteil and Kofi. And, pause as you may, to ponder that group for a moment?....Anyway, It is they and probably Mike and then whoever else gets rookied in before 4/1/10. I'm sure it is decided or almost, but the Dream Team is that 4-some. I think that is what he meant. Mike was out w/Scrapomatic I think. Anyway, can't wait and I'd like to see that quartet a bunch of the show if possible when they hit the road. A fearsome 4some to be sure.

why in the hell do we always have to wait to get tourdates until *AFTER* the abb sells their nyc and wanee dates first.
that is bs.
i don't care who is in the band or not i just want to know when(as in what specific date and time) will the tourdates be announced?
anyone?
Yes we all very excited and want to know, but we have to be patient I guess. Whoo Hoo, can't wait til Wanee!

Hey Marc thanks for clearing that up. I guess I got a little excited and dramatic haha. I feel like one of those d-bags on TMZ! Anyway, sorry again everyone!
Thanks for the clarification, Marc.
"Derek is down in JAX writing.." Thanks Marc, that's what all us DT and ST fans want to hear!
Woot!
Florida is getting chilly, so the music is probably smoking hot.

You'll be the first to know... I'm sure we'll have news items up on both Derek's site and Susan's site just as soon as the lineup is set. And no, this isn't the lineup. Derek is down in JAX writing, rehearsing and recording - this group joined him this week, but by no means should we assume that this band will be on tour come April. Simply put I don't believe that band is set at all yet... But we'll let you know all the details just as soon as possible.
>Marc
according to Lana over at HTW, Derek and Susan are just jamming and recording with these guys at SwampRaga and have not made a final decision on their line-up, and that possibly Eric's "tweet" was either a little premature or misinterpreted. I suspect that Oteil and Kofi are pretty much a sure thing. And as far as an announcement of tour dates, my only question is where they will be announced first...here, ST's site, or through a peach-o-gram??? Peace, BB
