Ghost notes?

This ones really for Mr. Tis. My '65 Super still makes pretty strong ghost notes after a recap job and didn't know if that was something that Derek fights or even cares about? I've never heard those kind of sounds on any of Derek's recordings. I was also wondering if Derek used both Super Reverbs at the same time live?

Chris hit it on the head with "cone cry" and the remedy..and like he said, "ghost notes" can some times be THE THING that makes your tone unique. If it adds something cool to the music that you play and your style of playing, then it may be something you want to play around with before you make changes. And, I do like

What you described sounds like "cone cry". This comes from heavy vibrations from the cones in your speakers. Grab a solid set of alnico's (or a really good set of ceramics). That should fix it. You should decide if you dig the ghost notes or not, regardless of what Derek thinks. As for an ABY on the supers, I'm not quite sure, but I would assume so. Maybe the one is an empty cab with a chassis look-a-like refrigerator system to house booze of varying varieties. Well, at least thats what I would do.

So this is how it ends
Not with a bang but with a whimper.
