Ask dTb
Why dont you play/record/release more straight blues - the acoustic backstage 'Old Friend' with Warren Haynes is beyond sublime, there is a single note hit in that solo towards the end with more feeling than most guitarists manage in an entire solo; the live version of Trucks and Tedeschi playing 'Walking Blues' is, again, just stunning blues. I do like the DT band stuff, and their sound, but for me DT is at his best playing more straight blues (albeit with his own unique sound).
We saw your band in Clearwater Fl at Ruth Eckerd Hall and so enjoyed it. We have all your albums too.
We miss Mike Mattison:( His voice makes your band, along with your guitar of course. You two together make your sound. We like Susan too...but her voice is a different sound.
Good Afternoon,
My husband and I would like to know if you are planning on coming out to california?
We would love to see you in concert.
Thank you,
Mary Ferraro
What key does Derek play in the song with "I'd rather go Blind", with Susan and Warren haynes?

Hey. I'm going to come and see you all in Wichita this sunday night. Would you mind if I take photos? I am a pro but would not use the shots in any manner without your consent. Thanks-Layne: la@iamgeseeker3.com
