hi DTB im from the uk i was just wondering ive heard derek say he used to listen to elmore james songs and try to learn the riffs when he was growing up. so i was just wondering is he self taught or has he studied music of any sort. cheers andy uk

I was at the B.B. King concert the other day and was very excited when you walked on stage. I was absolutely blown away by your phrasing and sound. I have since become a big fan within the space of about 3 weeks. I live in the UK and so have missed the chance to see you on tour, but for your next tour I was wondering if you will offer a 'Meet & Greet'. I would love a chance to meet you as I play guitar and after seeing you live at the B.B. King concert and have since (tried) to play slide.

DTB played at the Highline Ballroom on November 6, 2008. Are there any recordings of that show? Most of my friends(who follow DTB and the Alllman Brothers) went to this show and talk about it as the most legendary show we have ever witnessed.
Is there anyway to get a copy of this night?

Derek - you are my favorite guitar player and I hope that you join the Hendrix Experience later in the day and play Little Wing - Derek style! Susan - you are one of the most expressive vocalists ever! I can't wait until tomorrow! One thing though - I live in L.A. and wish you two would play a gig at the House Of Blues either in Anaheim or Hollywood.
